Introduction
This project was commissioned by a renowned shoe brand that specializes in high-quality, stylish footwear. The brand is known for its innovative designs, blending comfort and fashion to cater to a wide audience. They wanted to elevate their online presence by showcasing their latest collection through high-quality, professional product photography.
Process:
- Pre-Production Planning:
- Concept Development: Collaborated with the brand’s marketing team to understand their vision for the collection. The goal was to emphasize the shoes' unique design, quality materials, and versatility.
- Mood Board Creation: Developed a mood board to ensure the aesthetic matched the brand's identity, incorporating sleek, modern vibes with a focus on elegance and everyday wearability.
- Location Scouting & Studio Setup: Chose a mix of clean studio shots with controlled lighting and lifestyle shots in real-world environments to show the shoes in action. Carefully selected props, backdrops, and lighting to highlight the features of the footwear.
- Shooting:
- Studio Shots: Used macro lenses for detailed close-ups to capture intricate stitching, textures, and materials.
- Lifestyle Shots: Collaborated with models to create natural, action-driven images that depicted the shoes in various contexts (e.g., walking on the street, at work, and during leisure time).
- Lighting: Focused on soft yet precise lighting to enhance the texture and color of the shoes, while keeping the images vibrant yet true to the brand's tone.
- Post-Production:
- Edited images to remove distractions, enhance details, and ensure consistent color grading that matched the brand’s established aesthetic.
- Performed retouching to ensure the shoes appeared in their best light, without compromising the authenticity of the product.
